Minas de Almadén y Arrayanes, SA, will made the international project Reduce exposure of mercury to human health and the environment by promoting sound chemical management in Boroo (Mongolia).
   
Minas de Almadén y Arrayanes (MAYASA), together with the Spanish company EMGRISA and Greek POLYECO, had been the winners of the international tender called by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for the implementation of the project "Reducing mercury exposure to human health and the environment by promoting the sound management of chemicals in Mongolia".

MAYASA, through the National Technological Centre for Mercury Decontamination, and EMGRISA and POLYECO will develop this project consisting mainly, in a study of alternatives to provide the best solution the problem of contamination by mercury, arsenic and cadmium, in Boroo (Mongolia) project. The project has a budget of € 250.000 and with a duration of 18 months.
